DnD Fest Update

Welcome back, adventurers! As we prepare for DnD Fest 2025, here are the key updates and reminders to ensure you’re ready for the upcoming event. Mark your calendars and start planning for another epic weekend!

Ticket Sales for Prior Year Attendees

When: Tickets go on sale January 15th at 7:00 AM EST.

Payment Methods: The website will accept Venmo or PayPal payments. Please note:

  • Use the “friend” option for your transaction. If you select “purchase,” the transaction will be canceled, and you will need to complete it again.

Ticket Purchase Details:

  • While individual or smaller party purchases (2 or 3 tickets) are allowed, priority will be given to full-party purchases (5 or 6 players).

  • Full-party tickets must be purchased in a single transaction and must include the names of all individuals.

  • New Attendees: If your party includes someone who didn’t attend last year, their ticket cannot be purchased yet. We need to ensure all 2024 attendees have the right of first refusal before opening ticket sales to others.

Team Selection:

  • Specify both your primary and secondary team choices when purchasing tickets. Team information can be found here: DM Biographies.

  • If you have plans for your team or questions about the process, feel free to let Dan know in advance.

Players’ Booklet and Campaign Details

The Players’ Booklet for DnD Fest 2025 will be released in February. It will include:

  • The background of the new campaign (set in the same world as last year)

  • Character creation guidelines

  • Background information

  • Starting equipment and gold

While much of the campaign’s details will be discussed during the staff planning party on Saturday, January 18th, nothing will be finalized until after that date.

However, one rule is already set in stone:

Only the 2024 Players Handbook will be allowed for character creation.

  • No other sourcebooks will be permitted.

  • All gameplay will follow the 2024 rule set.

Character Sheets:

  • After purchasing your tickets, your DM team will add you to a DnD Beyond campaign where you will create and maintain your character sheet.

  • This is mandatory: All character sheets must be managed through the DnD Beyond campaign.

  • You do not need to pay for access. As an active player in your DM’s campaign, you’ll have access to the 2024 PHB, DM’s Guide, and Monster Manual via the DM’s Master Tier account.
