Team D DMs

Nic Roe

Hi my names Nic! I've been happily playing DND for about 14 years and have been. Dm for 10 of those years at this point. I've done everything from modules to homebrews and have had a blast with every one. As a DM I love putting up a challenge to my party, be it a wild combat, or a harsh negotiating diplomat. I'm a huge supporter of theatre of the mind and like to get my players to really feel out their characters with some challenging plot.

Devon Cummings:

Hey there! My name is Devon, and I can't wait to be your Dungeon Master!

I've been playing Dungeons & Dragons since I was 11, and have been with it through all of its iterations, grappling with goblins and debating with demons since I was a young lad.

I decided to take on DM'ing because I wanted to make sure players had the chance to feel their characters; whether that's rolling a critical hit or exploring their haunted past, I really, ultimately, want players to experience the fullness of their characters.

My DM'ing style tends to lean more towards the "Theater of the Mind" imagination realm; I like to call on players to infuse a scene with their character's feelings and experience while I try to weave an image they can hold in their mind.

While I typically like to cater the challenges I present to the desires of my playgroup, I typically like to offer a balanced blend of interactions with interesting characters, a context-based puzzle or mystery, and combat that will make your characters feel stretched. The best heroes get their legacy by defeating the best foes!

I want to see everything you've poured into your character at DnDFest! Can't wait to meet you 🙂

Tim Hawkins

Hi, I’m Tim Hawkins, and I’ll be one your Dungeon Masters for this years adventures. I started rolling dice and telling stories at about 10 years old. I have played all the editions of the game and have been DMing since I turned 14. D&D is all about the moments that stick with you—the funny moments, the games where your choices matter, where your creativity saves the day, or where your party comes up with the unconventional and surprises me. My games generally are heavier into role-play, over roll-play with storytelling at the core. You’ll meet some interesting characters, face tough decisions, and find challenges that reward teamwork and wit. Combat? It’ll test you. Puzzles? They’ll push you. But most importantly, the story will be yours to tell. I'll be there to narrate it. I have been a player at DnDFest for the last 4 years. This is my first time DMing at DnDFest, and I’ll be ready to bring you a game that feels like a journey worth remembering. See you at the table—let’s make something epic together.
